Hydutt is chewing paper towel pieces?

My little crazy monster has a new habit: chewing paper towel pieces!!! He picks a piece and then chews it for like 10 mins then throws it... then takes another piece and continue chewing that one for another 10 mins... This goes on all day. He is almost 5 years old and I have never seen him playing with a toy other than paper towel rolls. Idk why he is not interested in toys. So my question here is, is there anyone who has the same "chewing paper towel pieces like a gum" issue here? Why is he doing that? And, why is he not interested in any toys I get for him?

Almost the same here.... Pico, my almost 3 year old GCC only likes one toy in his cage.... a brass bell.... lots of other toys, also rotating them and get new ones, but he only likes the brass bell ( on a chain ) in his cage.... outside the cage his two favorite toys are : Q-Tips and small metal tweezers.... he's playing for hours with them..... LOL And of course he likes "rough" playing with me and my fingers.... ouch !!!! And he has another habit : He throws everything on the table or kitchen counter down on the floor.... Not sure why he does that.... Maybe he wants to help clean up.....hahahahah

Same!! Hydutt also throws everything down. sometimes feels like I have a cat in the house.

Salty went thru a phase where paper towel rolls were his fav chew toys, and then like a light switch, he ignores them. Use the roll with minimal amounts of glue, some have many bands of glue some only a few.

Oh, he doesn't touch the cardboard tubes in paper towels. Just the white paper towel he chews. Do they gave glue too?
