I bought Suki a harness!

I bought a harness online, just waiting for it to arrive. I'm very excited to take Suki for walks to let her experience the world. I am really really hoping she will let me put it on her. I know the usual tricks to getting her used to it is just having it in the room for a while moving closer then letting her see it and touch it. So she doesnt fear it. But how do I get her used to picking up her wings to put the harness on? Just touching them and picking them up little bits until she gets used to it?
