I finally get my sun conure :)

Happy Dance. It will be love at first sight. There is just something about a baby sun, they are just to cute.

I have my baby. He is the sweetest thing already. He wasn't scared at all. I put him in his cage and left the door open. He explored his entire cage and within 10 minutes came out to explore the outside of his cage. I was sweet talking him the whole time. He even flew to me and tried to land on my glasses. He thought it was a perch. He makes the cutest noises that I cant even explain. I've never heard a bird make this noise. It's almost like a cooing and he does it when I pet him. He already takes food from my hand too. This bird is so awesome. I am in love. Oh and his name is Pyro!

Thank you. I've been looking forward to this day for months and I was kind of worried that Pyro wouldn't be everything I was hoping for. I know, plain silly. He is everything and more and I couldn't be happier with him.

Congrats on your new addition. He sounds just like my Jenday Conure He done exactly the same when I bought him home, and has had the same temperament ever since, even though his little cooing noises to begin with, have changed to very loud squawks lol . but his cuteness makes up for that Looking forward to seeing pics

I have a friend who has a sun conure and he's more like a baby than he bird. She loves him so much. She turns him on his back and kisses his belly and nibbles his toes and he loves it! Its so funny! Lots of luck to you and your new baby.
