I got her too trust me!!!

I know Lilo has always stepped up and kisses me and cuddles but she never let me hold her on my hand like most people do. Conures are really cuddly birds and like to be held but Lilo never did. She just didn't trust me that much. But I guess now she does and she likes being held in my hand! So if she is just sitting somewhere I can go and put my hand around her and pick her up! Even turn her on her back! Witch she would NEVER let me do before! The parrot shops would say oh she won't ever trust you like that, most birds don't..... I guess she had a change in heart! It did take her 2 years!

Yes thank you! I remember how wonderful it was to hand tame my tiel! He was abused in his first home badly but he loved my hole family! It was hard to see him go.

That's great! How is Lilo doing now? Was she not sick after all? I hope all is fine.

Oh I have been giving her oral medicine for a bacterial infection. She is doing good but is not behaving very well to get them! She ends them next Tuesday . It was small but the vet said she didn't want her sick. She could have gotten all better on her own or the other way... She didn't want that happening so I got her right on them she has been taking them for exactly a week! When she sees me getting the medicine into the syringe she runs for the hills! crazy bird!
