I feel so bad for these guys/girls. Theirs names are Peaches and Kwi. They are suppose to be 3 years old but not really sure. The owner I got them from all she did was feed them. They have never been handled or let out of there cage. I don't think she cleaned their cage either other than to change the paper, took me 3 hours to get all the poop off the cage. As soon as I can get the money up I'm going to buy them a bigger cage and more toys to play with. I will start out slow and hopefully I will be able to hold them. I have been reading a ton about Quaker behavior. These pics are of the birds at the previous owners house.

I'm glad they have a better home now. That cage looks about the same size as my budgies cage. I have one budgie that's not tame yet but I let her out. I just wait for her to go home then I shut the door.

Very nice! Hey, at least you will have a fairly nice cage for bringing then outside to get air and rays!
Curious, Did the previous warden ask for a 'rehoming fee', to prove you were fit?

Oh my goodness, that's smaller than the cage Sammy came in! Yikes! The poor babies! I love Quakers, even the crazy ones, lol. Hopefully they will bond with you quickly. I know Sammy was pretty much thrilled when he went from almost no attention to being the center of attention every time I was in the house!

No they did not ask me for a rehoming fee. I got them from one of my friends, friend. She is the one that told me that they really need a new home. They were in a room where they got no attention at all.

Oh I bet these birdies are so happy to have a better home! Thanking you on behalf of the entire Quaker family worldwide! :) You will have lots of fun with these two, I'm sure you did the right thing for them as well as yourself!

You've adopted two incredible birds, thank you for getting them out of an awful situation. Best of luck with them.
