I had to go to Los Angeles for a medical thingy today....almost 4 hours each way :56: Nevertheless, everyone got splashed some fresh water, pellets triple checked and I was out the door this morning.
By the time I got home it was after dark, and Sass generally goes to bed with the sun. Of course I couldn't resist and had to pop in and say hello. She has been so so so much more receptive to cuddles and stitches from me lately, I couldn't resist coping a feel.
She was so cute, she didn't want to hurt my feelings and I could tell she really tried hard to tolerate stitches for a couple of minutes, then she gently took my finger and VERY deliberately led my hand to the outside of her door, dropped my hand off on the outside of her cage, turned around, made her way to her sleeping perch and closed her eyes.
I want my Amazon and I want her now! Now it looks like I'm going to have to go through withdrawls all night until the sun pokes out in the morning!
