I want a painted conure

Those are cool birds really cool I have seen one only once, really cool and i think there is one that is called a pearl something conure I cannot recall but they are lovely as well

I've never heard of them but just googled some pictures, they are beautiful! Love the detail of the feathers on their neck.

I looked into buying a pearly conure or painted conure and found out that they are going extinct! the gene pools are so small that females are going infertile. sad :(

I had to google them just now. Beautiful!

They are beautiful!! Let me know how much they are!!

I'm waiting on Pearly conure pairs to get dna sexed, i'm buying three pairs for $1,000 and $130 shipping

:)

I've decided to start breeding them and start a community of pearly conures. If they are dying out, why not? sounds like a lot of fun!

I'll probably start selling them too, and every so often i'll buy some from a different state to add new dna to the mix.

Googled them and they are absolutely beautiful! Never seen them before.

I love painted conures. Their feather absolutely do look painted on! I remember seeing a few babies for sale from breeders. They were around $450 if I remember correctly. Or possibly $350?

We got a baby Painted Conure back in August. He is a sweet heart! We were between him and a green cheek but we went with him since he is so rare! Want to find out more about him, but there are only a few websites. We owned birds for 18 years and we have an Umbrella and a wonderful WB Caique.

Here is a picture of Malakhi, if you find any more out there, please let me know!

Oh wow, Malakhi is GORGEOUS! I had never heard of them before, what beautiful birds! Good luck getting one, OP!!

I've owned 2 of them. They are wonderful birds. My male lived to 18 years old. Female did not live as long because she was born with deformed legs, which greatly hampered her ability to exercise. Did anyone else on this thread ever get a Painted Conure?

I love how pretty they are, love that strong marking on the neck feathers.

I love all the interesting variations and subspecies with green cheeks, they're really lovely.

Where can I ask did you get your painted conure from?? I am looking for a pair of them ....Any Leads ??
