I’m interested in getting a green cheek conure someday and am looking into appropriate cages. What would be a good size cage for a green cheek? Is wrought iron okay? I already know not to use dowel perches and all that, so am looking into branch perches. Thanks in advance!

Minimum size: 24 x 24 x 36 in
Bar space: 1/2 to 3/4 in
Material: powder coated metal or stainless steel

Wood perches are okay

Wrought iron would be fine if you could get small enough bar spacing to safely contain a greencheek conure. I think you’d want a spacing between 1/4 and 1/2 “. 3/4” spacing is too wide for this tiny bird. 3/4” is too wide for a cockatiel or Quaker, imo.
