Now please advise how to empty? I clicked on them and hit delete nothing has??? Sigh I have no tech savvy!

If you click on the checkbox at the top right you can select all. You can also click on a group or one at a time (different colored circles on pic)

Once you’ve chosen all you want to delete, you can scroll down to the bottom, click on Move To Folder and choose delete. I’m 99% sure these are good directions.
