A crossover Quaker Scuti (F), A Sun conure named AC, A Cinnamon Green Cheek conure Kent, and 4 budgies, yellow (m), clark Jr. (m), Dot (f), Zebra(f).
Old thread is over I decided these birds can get along and I can't give up my new quaker.

She's developing her personality and even has a laugh call now.

I also don't think if I gave back to the breeder this bird could find a better home where its out of the cage basically anytime I'm home.

BUT THE QUAKER IS A GOOF BALL!

is it because baby or will it be this goofy forever?

Also she's really into my phone and I need her IT support skills.

welcome home SCUTI , may you have a long , happy, healthy life, with minimal screaming!!!

Congratulations quaki-mate!!

This is the best easiest age to get them eating a huge variety of veggies and leafy greens, berries, try cranberry in season and a favorite as well as blackberries. They are programed at this age to explore foods. So get cracking!!!
Cucumber, green beans, celery, romaine lettuce.

Clearly, you have fallen for that Sweet New Parrot thing and are loss in the joy!!!

Resistance is Futile!!!

Enjoy, as you have no other choice!!! :D

look corn, happy now? she's also had broccoli and peas and carrots.

I am! I will be more happy with more different types! Truly exposure to lot of different types at this age pays off. And quakers love their veggies way more than GCC. Sure GCC enjoy and eat them, but all my quakers love them.

Scuiti the cutie fir sure!! Obi says hi he/she is chewing my ears right now

what is it with quakers and ears????????????????

OMG

Also breeder just got back to me with last question.....hatched September 16

That's great, fully weaned and time seeing adult quakers preen. Should really help prevent future behavior issues.

I think this thread needs a glamor shot of SCUTI
Just saying

Found these on amazon...

Little veggie shish-ka-bobs for treats.

First time I put them in I forgot to see if they were used when I got home, then next day I'm like where was the veggies????

There was about half a carrot and about 1/3 of a broccoli in the bottom of the cage.

I have reloaded it.

Frozen veggies I serve downstairs as they are more wet and I don't want them hanging around uneaten.

Also that big pillow destroy toy, found it on the bottom of the cage twice so far from her chewing the top whicker part.
