crowley is such an awesome bird. he still gets over excited and nippy but he's really learning! you have all been such a help to me and i can't thank you enough! i totally now understand how much love you can have for a little feathered maniac <3

People think we're weird for loving parrots so much but if they had one they would know why we feel this way, parrots are much easier to get along with then people, they don't judge you!

My parents don't understand why I put so much time into my birds but they just don't bond with birds like I do. There are some parrot owners that never become parrot lovers, but that's a rare bunch because I mean who doesn't love a bird biting your ear, I mean snuggling.lol

I never thought I could be a bird lover myself, but I rescued one that flew off a balcony to the ground and thought it was nice to have a buddy on your shoulder. I was hooked.

No truer words are spoken. They are amazing, and we call ours the little people monkeys. LOL Sometimes the word maniac comes about as well. LOL

I, too, have fallen hard for a GCC. His name is Buddy and he is fabulous. We've had him about a month-ish and he is finally letting me scratch his neck with my evil scary fingers. He came to us saying Buddy and Hi Buddy, but now he also says Hi Baby. He also came to us making kissy sounds, but the people who had him were afraid to let him give them kisses for real. Well, he does that quite nicely!!!! We are completely smitten with him (or her....)!

It's great to hear that you and Crowley are getting along so well. I tell people all the time how awesome it is to have tow little GCC's and they think I am insane. Like you said, "Takes one to understand one!" My babies have brought so much love, laughter and joy into my life!

Exactly! My parent thing I'M the maniac when I wake up at 6 o' clock in the morning just to slce up bell peppers and apples. That's why I love this site. All the maniacs join together to speak of our love for our fids.

Heheh They would faint I used to work with a B&G named Captain Jack he would give kisses but then if you said "No Tongue " He would stick his tongue out and touch your lips with it. He was soooo funny; amazingly he was broght to the pet store as quote "unruly and anti-social and a screamer " I guess it was just for them because he was a dream in the store.
