Here's the feather heart I just finished from Marley's feathers that I had been saving for donating, but beacuse of loosing him, there was no way I could even part with them. So here's what I made so I can see them every day. This heart is no where equal to the size of my baby's heart, but just as beautiful as he was. I will be framing it in a depth box frame soon. When I find one that I really like. (I will repost the framed pic when it's complete). Rest In Peace my love.

That's beautiful!

Not only is it a LOVELY tribute, but just as a work of art it is stunning.
How did you get the feathers to hold in the shape?

Yes I had previously posted the story of Marley about after the great loss of my Marley and forgiving myself to get another parrot.

Thank you so much! It was quite a bit of work actually to get the feathers positioned and glued down with out damaging them. I cut a heart form out of heavy stock cardboard, then glued trim around the edges. Then (after I had set all of the feathers in a pattern I liked, which took all day), I set my glue gun on the very lowest heat setting and started to glue them, by the tips, one by one, from the inside of the heart out toward the edges.

that is so cool what a great way to pay tribute to your bird
