Today we finally got to go pick Iris up! She will be 13 weeks old tomorrow, but she just wouldnt give up handfeeding until a couple days ago. Seems like a long time to wean but at least she got to choose. We drove 5 hours round trip but it was so worth it!
She is brilliant. She has been giving kisses and preening us since we got home. Even the kids she isnt scared of. She went to them and just started loving on them immediately and she couldnt get enough. She didn't call at all in the evening (though I know that could change). She went straight to sleep after checking out all her new toys and playing with them.
