Is 71 grams a healthy weight for a green cheeked conure?

So I have googled this question but have gotten conflicting answers. I recently weighed Maddox after I began to think he was overweight, and it came to 71 grams which I have read is anywhere from normal to, in fact under weight. Any thoughts?

The thing is some are naturally smaller or bigger just like people. Little Ona is only 59 grams. If he’s a bigger GCC 71 is probably ok. Maybe try to make sure he is getting enough exercise through training and toys to be sure.

Weigh him often and establish a base line for him. THat way you will notice if he starts dropping weight, which is a good indicator that something is wrong. Weigh at the same time every day, preferably right after the big morning poops.
