Is Australian Bamboo / Bambusa arnhemica safe for my bird?

I’ve done some looking around in google and can’t find much about individual bamboo species, I know some can be harmful and some are safe but I haven’t found info on Australian bamboo. There’s some growing in my backyard from under the fence since my neighbour has some and I picked some sprouts, I think my bird would have great fun chewing on them but I want to make sure they’re safe. Any info would be helpful!
