According to multiple vets- once mixed, it has like a 48 hour shelf life in terms of disinfecting, so it doesn't work as well as f10 in terms of mix and store. It needs to be thrown out after 24-48 hours because it stops working as advertised on germs after that point. f10 can stay stable for months after water is added. I was told that by a regular vet, an exotics vet and a CAV.

I found that a baby wipe placed over dry bird poop will restore the moisture and allow it to easily be cleaned up. Larger volume commonly requires that the wipe be folder in two and left for about and hour. Safe on wood floors.
