Kiko; A cockatiel.
Tangie; My beloved Sun Conure who passed away in May 2013
I wasn't sure where to post this, and I posted it at the Parakeet section, but maybe it's more fit to be here.
So, I stumbled upon a website referring to mutation's of Cockatiels, and I clicked on it, simply by curiosity. I don't know much about Cockatiel mutations, although I know what a normal grey Cockatiel is supposed to look like. I always wondered why Kiko seemed a little....lighter than a normal Grey male. Kiko seems to be a cinnamon mutation to me, but maybe I'm just imagining things. Any thoughts? Here is a picture of him below.

I've never seen Fallow, Cinnamon Lutino or Silver in person, as it may be one of those but I'm unsure especially on silver. What color is is Kiko's eyes???

His eyes are brown.
I always thought that his light coloration might have been because of his poor nutrition before I adopted him.
Since he spent his first 5 years of life just eating seeds.
But since then, he has molted tons of feathers, and they all come back as the same color.

The problem is the red eye mutations have pink feet and beak. Kiko seems to have a darker beak.... I know when I had Greys, Pearls, and Cinnamon males. All their greys looked different.

Hmmmn....
I can post another picture of him.
He definitely has light gray feathers, pinkish feet, brown eyes, and a darker beak.

Could he be an emerald?

I'll look into the two colors some more.
Emerald seems like a very good possibility since he has a yellow/green kind of sheen to him on his stomach and chest.
I have no clue of his back ground, since I rescued him....
Only that he's around 5 or 6, and he was fed seeds his whole life.

It's a pretty rare mutation so I don't think it's it but you just never know.....

I know. X/
It is a very good possibility if it's common. XD
But since it is rare, then I just don't think it is.

I'd say cinnamon. :)

Thanks for the help, guys!
I asked around and posted some other pictures on a Cockatiel site, and they said he was a cinnamon mutation split to whiteface and pearl.
