Is my bird grieving?

So I posted a few days ago that one of my parrotlets died at the emergency room, and since I've been home and interacting with my other parrotlet (she's my only bird now), I've noticed she's been biting me more. I can tell that she's also molting it looks like, but I was wondering if it could also be grieving? I remember the first day I had her out after her sister died, she kept looking around and chirping for my other one. They were really close to each other and never wanted anything to do with me when they were together. They were only a year apart and didn't like each other at first, but they ended up being best friends most of the time. It was really cute (sometimes I was like "what about me" haha. I loved them though. So so much.) So I was just wondering if anyone knows if parrots that are grieving can become more aggressive? She sees the vet on Thursday, so I know I can ask him, but I'm just curious if anyone knows anything.

Oh, how very heart-touching. Yes, indeed, I am confident that they feel many complex emotions such as grief, which they express with all the range and depth that humans might display. I wish you both healing and recovery, and I'm glad you have each other! Thank you for sharing this with us.

The vast majority of mid to large Parrots are Socially Bonded to their group and a loss of a member is felt by the group (family). So yes, they grieve.

It will be a time in which you will need to be in tune with her needs. Sometimes cuddly and other times more with just herself. Take the time to share with her and let her know that you miss the sister as much as she does.

Tour the home often with her, as if you both are looking for her. It will help her define that sis is not around.

Yes! Was she able to see her deceased partner?
We had a horrible accident this weekend, one of our Sheba pups was killed! Even though they were together when the accident happened we held a doggie wake! I sat on the floor holding Jekyll, and the others all came to sniff and such. They were visibly distraught!
His sister, Luna had to be carried away! She refused to leave his side!
