We no longer subscribe to the newspaper and I was thinking of ordering this to line the cages. https://www.amazon.com/IEOKE-Butcher-Kraft-Paper-Roll/dp/B074BML51D/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1543945722&sr=8-4&keywords=butcher+paper2 cockatiels & 2 parakeets all in large flight cages (3 cages total) so I have a lot of bottom area to cover. I am pretty sure it is okay but wanted to double check before ordering a few rolls.
Is this a safe alternative to line my bird's cage with?

Absolutely. Butcher-Paper is great for lining bird cages with...Any type of solid paper is great...

Yeah--- that will work.
I have also used un-glossy packaging paper/poster paper (in rolls)
and plain white paper-towels (no fancy scrubbing varieties...just paper).
