Is this bonding.

Hi yall, so I found out my bird Kiwi who I and him have been strugglimg bonding have been making some progress. He eats out of my fingers. Sometimes nibbles on my fingers and stuff. And now for example when i have an apple he wants it too. When I tske a bite out of an apple for example he stops what hes doing goes to the corner of the cage where im closest too and waits until i give him a piece

That is indeed bonding. Try to progress, slowly, by having him take the food from the open cage door. Parrots accept change very slowly most times, think weeks and months instead of days. But this is progress!

Yes! And sharing an apple together is a great way to build that bond!
