Is this cage OK for a GCC?

Is this cage an ok size for a GCC? The width seems OK at 27" wide, but the depth is what concerns me at 16". Our little GCC is out of the cage a lot during the day, so would this be an OK option?

I feel that a conure needs a larger cage. I have this one and it works great.
It has plenty of room for toys and moving around.

have you noticed that its hard for them to climb over the corners and over the side to get to the play top? i had to attach sticks to all of the corners..

Thanks for your input! I wound up ordering a larger cage that is 27x21 that I think she will be very happy in!

At first I thought we would need to do that too, but they found that they could get up there just by reaching up with their beak... And the tray handle for the top was an easy way up too.

I have the same cage but a tad smaller! It's 18x18x54 and my sun conure loves it! He also lives or loves for the play top!
