I never realized how much I enjoyed talking about my babies with other bird owners. I don't know any other bird owners so when I talk to the ladies at work about my babies they all think its great but they don't get it! So I do apologize if I tend to talk to much- I guess I feel like I found a spot where people understand and I understand them. Sorry guys...

I feel the same way! NONE of my friends, family or co-workers have birds. THANK GOD I have all you great bird people to talk to in this forum!!! I'd have to say that 99% of what i now know about birds I learned here. I love reading about everyone's birdys and seeing pics...

I love hearing bird stories CoCo1 - so keep 'em coming!! I also love sharing stories about my sweet little lory. There's one girl at work who has a cockatoo, so she understands and it's fun to share bird stories with her. When I got my first lory in 1994, I was just amazed at all the antics and personality he had. No one in my family or friends had parrots, so they found my stories very hard to believe, in fact, my dad (who lives out of state) said he didn't even believe the stories until he saw my lory for himself.
