It's off to the vets again.

Well I posted a thread maybe a week or two ago about Audrey kind of sounding like she had a blocked nose. I followed all the advice but it hasn't really 100% gone away, still happening maybe once a day if that. Then today for a few seconds she was wheezing, oh how scary :'( :'( :'( I called the vet right away but they are booked right out. I was able to make an appointment for saturday because they are only open half of the day but one of the vets opted to stay back and see her, so thank goodness for that. This birdy is causing me so much stress lol. I just want her happy and healthy! I also have to spend money I received as a gift for my birthday to cover the vet bills. Not cool. I wonder if she is allergic to my rabbits? They are moulting and leave a lot of hair behind. Stressy stressy. Anyway, cross your fingers for me that its nothing serious and that she will be okay. x

fingers crossed and prayers going up for Audrey. I can definately feel your pain, as I just spent alot of money on the Vet Friday, and I also have a sick one. Rico has some kind of upper respiratory illness that he came to me with. Awaiting cultures now. Good luck and I hope you dont have to wait on cultures also, as this just kills me waiting to know while I cant do much to help him feel better .

Thanks so much for all the well wishes. I can happily say she is completely her silly self, so I hope thats a good sign. When she got sick last time she was very quiet and spent all day in the corner of the cage so it was very obvious something was wrong.

Thanks guys! I've noticed when Audrey makes this wheezing sound, its only when she's in talking mode. She has been quiet all day today seeing as it has been dark and rainy, but when the sun came out, she came up to the top of her cage and started singing and talking happily and then made that odd wheezing sound again. I'm wondering if its something she has learnt to mimic from somewhere. Still going to the vet regardless, but I'm hoping thats all it is!
