I am getting a blue quaker!! He is about a year and a half old and his current owners don't have the time to dedicate to him anymore. I have always wanted a blue quaker but the price has always put me off. I wasn't planning on getting another bird but I saw this guy advertised and he was so cheap I just couldn't resist! I pick him up this weekend =) I have a feeling stephen won't be very impressed for a while!

Sweet!!! I'm so happy for you, Sophia! That is a very lucky quaker to be coming home with you! Any ideas for names? You must share pics as soon as possible!

One thing, though. Has this bird had a veterinary check, recently? If not, remember to observe the quarantine protocols. And if he has... well, a shorter period of quarantine wouldn't hurt anyway, right? (I know I'm likely preaching to the choir, but thought I'd throw that out there just in case.)

Wish I could see the smile on your face when you go to pick him up, my dear friend. (Have your partner take a video or something! ) You had such a rough year. You deserve every moment of happiness that you're getting now.

My blue quaker, Cosmo, is quite chatty....and the busiest bird I've ever seen! Fascinating to watch! Such a sweetie! Enjoy your new fid!
