Jacob your whacky bird!

So jacob has a HUGE personality, and I mean huge.. he has no issues or reg behavior like a lot of sun conures do.. last night I was up way too late so by 10 am his blanket wasn't off the cage yet. However he's awake in there, I hear him doing his talking, he's playing with the toys, he is giggeling.. So all of a sudden I hear the plastic cover to one of his bins get tossed off.. nothing unusual either... and then I hear intense giggeling and wing flapping and I was wondering what he was doing.. and he is giggeling away... so I go up realizing its time to start my day, I take the cover off and there my bird brain is... SOAKED.. he took a bath in his water bowl... LOL

He is such an amazing little brat <3

yeah my bf wants to set up a hidden camera under the blanket so we can record him in the mornings.. He didn't believe me when I said what jacob does.. and then the other day he heard it himself, and he was like wow.. we have to record this..
I know Jacob has def understood what giggeling is.. He will do it (mostly when you aren't looking) when playing with his toys.. but Ill record it one morning before I take the blankie off.. thas when he is having the mos fun...

Sometimes Oliver gets a little overstimulated when I laugh a lot. I'm not sure if he understands that it's a happy sound? He mimics it a bit but his body language is aggressive when he does.

But I knew a bird in Mexico that giggled like a baby and it was the most adorable sound

It's cute when conures laugh!!!

Charlie laughs, which is often hilarious to watch when he gets really in the mood because he'll open his beak wide and stick his tongue out while laughing!

Jayde on the other hand cackles, and it sounds so funny!

LOL Yeah I have to say, owning a bird is a hoot...
I was talking to my friends today on camera and Jacob came over to check what I was doing.. He sat on my finger and I flipped him upside down...

So now my friends will ask me to flip them the bird... SIGHS....
Buthe won them all over...

I am so happy to hear you guys are having fun together. He is rewarding you for everything you have done so far.
It's irresistible when they giggle....I know because my DYHA is giggles like crazy. She can go on and on specially if I am laughing .......... sometimes my stomach starts to hurt, it's so funny. You record Jacob and I'll try to record Simba, so we can share their giggles....
He is a super adorable little guy ...... you both are lucky!

Aw, how cute! My conures also love to take baths in their water bowls, but ONLY after I've put fresh water in. If it's not absolutely clean water, they will not bathe in it.
