Jasper's new thing

This is new today. Im not sure if it's play or practice. We discourage Jasper flying because it always ends with a crash. This might help his landing skills. Whatever he's doing he seems to be having fun. After I recorded this he has been hovering in the air longer before coming back down.

Very cute, seems Jasper is practicing and playing. Goffins can be superb fliers, so my guess is he never learned as a fledgling. It is a natural behavior, so never too late! He appears to have good coordination.

One of my Goffins, Gabby, enjoyed watching Jasper. By the time I got the camera, he finished displaying and was intently watching the fun!
