Jenday or Sun Conure?

Hi there, we have just taken in a conure. They said it was a sun but I think a jenday due to his age (8 years).


Any insight?

Victoria showed me the pic and I said sun cause he looks just like Loki... but then she said 8 years old and then it was, oh wait green wings A jenday adult does look alot like a baby sun... but the sun would be mostly yellow wings if he was really a sun and 8 years old...

So adult Jenday in Sun baby costume??

Perfect!! Thought so, but only after someone else questioning their bird and then I was like wait a second!!! Haha

He's pretty awesome, we are on day two of having him. Every time he hears a mans voice he starts squaking LOUUUUD!!!!!!

A lot of people get confused between suns, jendays and gold caps. There are even hybrids between these species, making even further confusion between what the birds are.

I agree though, Jenday!
