hey all
I just got a new Bird which is Triton Cockatoo with the yellow on top :)
I don't know how to know exactly his age !! as the man said maybe 5 or 4 years. He is totally tamed i can scratch on his head and even every part on his body. Also, when I touch his wing telling him up he raise it all up.
but there's only one problem which is he can step up on my hand so i take him out from his cage and taking him to his stand, but when he is on the stand I need to try many times until to step up I want him just when i put my hand he step up immediately without refusing.
one more thing is when he is trying to clean himself his producing different voices can't understand him !! should I start learning him words or not !?

Also there's a small feathers come out of him. What do you suggest me to do !!
please tell me in your comments what I need to do !!
thanks a lot for this fantastic Forum :)

congrats on him hes gorgeous! As for the feathers those are just down feathers all birds shed them naturally, just keep trying to get him step up mine was reluctant to step up from cage for a while but eventually he will get it, I noticed he has seen in his tray he shouldnt be eating seed as a main part of his diet he should be fed noncolored pellets cause cockatoos are prone to fatty liver disease and obesity and seeds can cause that so he should be fed noncolored pellets like Harrisons pellets or Zupreem pellets and of course he should have lots of fresh fruits and veggies!!
