Thanks everyone! She is still a little shy, but mostly she just wants love and we just want to give it to her. So it's all working out perfectly. We have a lot of traffic thru our house (mostly kids), she doesn't care for attention when new people are around. She tries to blend in and just watch the little crazies. When they head out the door she speaks up to remind us she's still here. Its adorable actually. I have had a variety of pets (domestic and exotic), but I have to say... she is just so amazing! I now understand the love for a bird, and its very different than for other pets. I hope to have more birds some day, but for now this little sweetie needs as much of our attention as she can get, and I won't jeopardize that by bringing in another bird anytime real soon. BUT, someday...

What a beautiful bird! I know what you mean about them being different from other pets. I have had other pets in the past, cats, dogs, and they were all special to me, but the birds are unique
