Has anyone else have a parrot that only eats when your in the room. I will fix Axel's food give it to him and if I leave the room he will give out a call and wait for me to come back in the room and start to eat.

More common with younger Parrots than with older Parrots, kind of like family dinner time thing.

Depends on the bird! Some are terribly shy and won't eat in front of their people. Others want company, many don't care as long as tasty food is available.
