Keeping found Cockatiel

I am going to be picking up the cockatiel that was found across town.

I am happy to continue looking for its rightful owner. If that fails I will keep it.

How long do you think I should look for its owner? Should I keep it away from my flock so they dont get attached?

If I decide enough time has passed and I integrate it then I find the owner

How bad could that affect mine. Especially Jet.

If I dont take it they will give it to someone else who may not continue to look for the owner.

Keep him quarantined, incase of bugs etc There's owners of a missing IRN on our equiv. of craigslist who have been desperately seeking him for 6 months now, so I'm no help with the rest, sorry!

Hes here. Hes beautiful. He looks to be in perfect feather and health. He is in the best quarantine I can achieve. One concern he has black rings around his nares. Will post pics soon.
