My girl hates anything to do with technology. It is a rare moment when I can video or take a picture of her doing something lol

Skittles is the same way. On occasion I can get him to cooperate but he is no fan of the camera.

Given conures mischievous nature, I don't think it's shyness so much as trying to avoid getting caught. LOL.

Gilbert can be that way too. He can be super talkative and someone walks up to hear it and then he stands silent. Or rolling all over the floor of the cage tossing toys around and cracking me up, I get the camera and he stands there staring at me. Lol.

Kyo is so cute. How was she on your trip, did she enjoy the adventure away from home?

She loved it! Once she got used to being in her smaller (still pretty big) travel cage, she seemed to have a great time. There wasn't a lot for her to get into so I was able to let her roam the cabin freely for the most part She was very good about not bugging daddy too.

Now we are home, and she is being a pain for poor daddy again... but we keep working on it every day. Hoping for better behaviour eventually!

Weather is too cold now in Alberta and I miss taking Tiki out with us. I wonder if he misses going out too. Really want to try a flight suit next summer, but knowing how much both he and Taco hates the aviator and impossible to get on them, I don't want to waste money on a flight suit.

Glad to hear Kyo had a great time and they she didn't bother daddy... I wonder if they bite less when in a new environment. It would make boarding them at friends or relatives easier if they bite less since this is the biggest deterent for us to go away anywhere.

Oh yes, it is! All my previous birds hate it, and I would never ever taught any of them to wear one. Mango is the only exception. He is not really fond of the process of wearing it, but once it's on, he loves it! I would never let him out of the house without one, , and on some occasions, inside the house.
