Have you guys seen this one?

So, this lioness kills a momma baboon for dinner. When she picks up the baboon she discovers that there is a baby baboon clinging to the dead mother.

The baby is obviously upset, and frightened. So what does the lioness do? Picks up the baby and nuzzles it of course! The other lionesses drive off a male lion who appeared to want to make a light snack of the baby baboon. (At that point, Daddy baboon swooped in and risked his life to rescue his little one...

A Lioness Killed A Baboon And The Baby Was Left Alone. What Happened Next Is Unbelievable

We already know there's more to these animals than just eat and be eaten.

But, showing compassion for the offspring of your last meal?!

The "motherly instinct" kicking in?!

Or is it just too cute to eat at this age?!

Interesting stuff really.

Remember Coco the gorilla, and how he acted with his pet cat, ball?!

Do animals that depend on each other, like the birds that live on the backs of other animals, and clean them/feed off their bugs ever feel a sort of a bond with one another?!

Wow, that is pretty incredible! Lucky little baboon for certain!
