Hi everyone!! Its been a long time since I have been active on the forums, and I forgot how much I missed it! I've had Loco, my yellow sided since May 2 and I've loved every second! He's definitely a handful! I just recently found that "he" is really a HE! I am so happy! I've updated his cage and I couldn't be happier and he's just as happy!

He was eating Zupreem Fruit Blend Flavored pellets.. but two weeks ago I decided to get him Roudybush pellets, and switched him cold turkey since hes a pretty good eater, and sure enough after just playing with them and moving them around for about an hour he was eating them and making his happy sounds. My go-to parrot store/groomer recommended Goldenfeast Petite Hookbill Legume.. so I bought it ...HE LOVES IT! Has anyone else tried this food?

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves

It's evident why he's spoiled.....nice looking bird.....

Has he been nibbling on any of the pumpkins.....they're OK for him, both the flesh & the rind.....

He tried some when I was carving, wasn't too thrilled.. he got some all over his beak and proceeded to shake his head and wipe it in my shirt... yes, my shirt is his napkin. ;)

Cute BOY! Thanks for update. He's a photogenic young man. His feathers look beautiful.

Thank you everyone! He is definitely photogenic. We're going to do a Veteran's Day photo shoot in a little while!

Welcome back! What a handsome little guy you have there! Thanks for sharing the fantastic photos.

He is adorably spoiled, and so cute! He looks like a very happy little birdy, beautiful feathers! I wish my Sundance would let me hold him on his back like that.

It took a lot of time and patience and trust building for him to lay on his back with me. He's my baby.. Definitely spoiled!

Thats adorable that he sleeps in your hand. I hope one day my bird trusts me that much!
