Here are some pictures of my new baby conure, Loki. He will be 11 weeks old tomorrow.

Here is me meeting him for the first time.

This one is just a few days ago, snuggling on the couch watching Dr. Who.

Right now he is trying garbanzo beans for the first time, but I don't have a picture. His favorite food is Rainier cherries. He doesn't like grapes, but he tried strawberries and banana and they are okay. He likes string beans if I open them, and he likes to tear apart carrots and throw them. So far, he won't eat any sprouts. Maybe later!

He seems to enjoy watching Dr. Who, Phineas and Ferb and me playing Minecraft. He also likes to squawk at the TV and he yells whenever I leave the room. He yells if my mom and dad walk by and don't stop in to say hello.

Well, we got a new perch recently and he loves it! I find it a better training perch than the PVC one in the kitchen, as that one is for eating dinner. He loves it!

What a cute baby bird! Hope you have lots of fun with him

Just a bit of advice, I know you trust your dog and is most likely a great dog. But new birds placed in new situations might not be used to a dog staring at them intently. Some might feel 'hunted' and cause undue stress which they may not show symptoms of until later. This may not be the case with your bird a d doggie but just something to maybe look into.

Thank you BoomBoom and no problem about sharing the pictures, it is my pleasure. Also, my bird seemed very comfortable while Odin was watching him and he also doesn't seem to mind Perishal the cat and Tristan and Odin my dogs.

Aww, poor little guy, being afraid of the theme song. You a big fan of Doctor Who too Extraterrestial?

Oh and one other thing? What is the funniest thing your birds have done? The funniest Loki has done was when we were watching Doctor who he rolled onto his side. I got up to pause it and he just rolled right over onto his back and then got back up but it was so cute! Right now my mom and I are making bird toys. I made one for Loki and my mom is making them for the Eclectus she is going to buy soon. We have so many more boys than girls in the house! We have six males and 3 females!
