Stitch the Blue Crown Conure
Hey everyone.

So, much has changed. the bad news is that Geordi, my Meyer's parrot, has left us. I won't go into detail, but it was a blow. We lost him around July, and that's probably part of why I've stayed away.

Stitch, my blue crown, is thriving. Some may (or may not) remember that I adopted him from a family through this amazing site back in February. He was molting at the time and he is now fully feathered, and looks gorgeous, if I do say so myself. He and I have moved into an apartment-- I was terrified that I would get complaints but none so far! He's very happy, and a bonus is that the place is toasty! The house I moved from was always cold. Happy for both of us on that point.

He's beautiful! So sorry to hear about your loss, but I'm glad to hear you're both happy.

Welcome back:)

So sorry for your loss ,but on the bright side you have a beautiful , thriving conure !

Absolutely gorgeous bird! Looks just like mine. :D

Wow! Stitch is beautiful!

Beautiful BC and welcome back. I am sorry for your loss... Meyers. I recently lost my baby Meyers so I know how you feel. No one knows how special they are unless one has owned one. You mentioned your apartment is toasty that is definitely ideal for a parrot. I keep my house cool because of sinus ailments but I do keep a heater in the bird room. I love seeing pictures of Blue Crowns since I am planning to get one in Spring. Peace Be To You.
