Hi I am looking for a GCC that is in need of a new home. I live in Southern California and am willing to drive out as long as its not out of state. I have experience with small birds and currently own 5 finches, a bio active aquarium, 2 exotic geckos, a chinchilla, and 2 huskies (who get along with all the animals). Both my chinchilla and huskies are rescues and have amazing success stories and I am willing to rescue/adopt any GCC that needs a loving home. :rainbow1:

Noted that your Thread had been missed. Sadly, it can happen from time to time.
With hope, my Post will place this Thread back on the active list and others will see it and comment.

Hmmm, likely need to expand your web search...
Green Cheek Conures are fairly common in your area...

There is a pet shop in my neck of the woods that frequently has Conures.
I have seen pineapple and lots of other varieties . Last time I was there I don't think they had any but I will keep my eyes open and let you know if they get some.

I am in the High Desert, Palmdale/Lancaster area.

Unfortunatly my local pet store is charging 600$ per conure. I am looking at other pet stores but most around me don't have any at the moment

The pet shop I mentioned has a Green Cheek Conure.
Said it was hand raised and asking 360.00

whats the pet store called??

Scott should have sent you a PM with the name of the store.
I am not trying to advertise for them so I hope I don’t get in trouble.
High Country Feed and Pet.

I have bought several birds from them including my CAG Bella.

The best place to get Green Cheek conures in Southern California is The Feather Tree. Steve Garvin developed most of the green cheek color mutations that are available and he lives in Orange County. He has a website where you can get his contact info.
