Hi just joined today. We have a 23 y/o umbrella. These are smart birds. actually all birds are smart. Anyway, he can be as cuddly as baby or louder than a 747. Depending on his mood and time of day and season. We live in Central Coast of Califonia, so he gets lots of outdoor time, in his cage of course. He mostly thinks he's a dog, because my wife walks him every morning with a bunch neighbor's dogs, so he barks a lot. We control his diet pretty strictly and give him lots of toys and wood so he's never bored.
