Lovebird and GCC

I've had my lovebird for a few years and he/she likes my daughter the most. I let 2 birds hang out with each other outside the cage. My daughter is worried the lovebird with fall in the with GCC. Should I let them play or would it be better not too?

Generally speaking, it wouldn't be recommended. It's possible for the two to get along, but it's also quite likely that they will go after each other and you'll end up with one or two injured birds.


None of us here know your birds, so we can't recommend it. However, you know your birds more than we do, and if you allow them to interact, you must accept responsibility if something were to happen between the two and have an avian vet on hand in case of emergencies.
