Lovebirds only interact if food is involved

Hey,

I've had my two Lovebirds for four days now and they won't set onto my hand or interact with me at all if food isnt involved.
If I have a snack on there they go to me almost immediately and they sit in my hand and eat away if I dont have a snack they'll go as far away as possible.
Do I keep feeding them till they are super comfortable with my hands in their cage or do I do something else?

Just keep up what you're already doing and take things slowly. Four days is a very short time and birds can take quite a while to start trusting you. They will eventually feel more comfortable with you but it may take some time.

I've had my two lovebirds for a week now and they won't go near my hands unless there is a treat in them. Porter will hop up onto my forearm 90% of the time i present it to her (think she is a she). Nibbler is being a terd though lol. He is still timid around me, but will follow suit if Porter is on me. They will both perch on my head occasionally. They do try (and have succeeded) to bite if i try to touch their heads so i think i might start target stick training soon. I have started clicker training though. I just click and then treat so they associate the sound as being good. Thats all the training for now though. Good luck!
