I’m just over here jealous that y’all’s birds know when it’s bedtime. Sometimes the old man is complacent, but often he’s on top his cage or his tree, yelling and dancing around out of reach! He’s as bad as our preschooler.

My Lucy would order me to “go night night” and she would also tell guests who’d overstayed their welcome to “go night night”.

Willow can’t say that but he bites the snot out of me if I try to get him to step up after bedtime.

He also objects to being stepped up with the left hand. And glasses. Sometimes I wonder if his issues are actually random and not correlated with ANYTHING I’ve done.
