I had a meeting to go to this afternoon. So as I was leaving, I told Mac "I'll be right back" and he repeated it to me as I was walking out the door by saying "be right back Mac".

I was gone for about an hour and when I got home, my wife began to tell me what Mac had been up to during the hour that I was away. She said within 15 minutes of me leaving, Mac climbed down the side of his cage, walked by the kitchen & dining area and into the living room. He looked around the living room all the while my wife was talking to him. He then headed down the hallway to my work room and finding the door open, walked in and started saying "hello" several times. My wife told him that I wasn't in there. So he walked back down the hallway and down another hallway into our bedroom and again saying "hello" several times.

I thought it odd that as soon as I entered the house and Mac caught sight of me, he came running over to me and stood on my foot until I picked him up saying "hello" & "be right back Mac".

Ah I love that story.... I hope mine gets that way someday....
You are very lucky..

JoJo does the same to me and Gracie flies off to look for my partner. :)

That's soooo cute...

Petrie my love well ok he thinks I am not only his human but mate at times. and she may be a he.. anyway.. I cannot go to the restroom with out this one following me into it while I do business LOL at age four the HELLO is said in several different ways some rather sultry little bird thinks like a puppy even goes to the door to be let out or in.. I do not like confining in cages but the BG Macaw forces the issue LOL and I would not trade anything for this in the world... Kool story and they are more than birds for sure ...

What a good guy. Love your Mac stories. He is a real treasure.
