Mango new behavior

He was playing this morning and got very excited. He then fanned his tail, pinned his eyes put his wings out and paced back and forth making funny clicking sounds. When he stopped I took him out and he was fine but his eyes were still pinning.

Why was he doing this?

Amazon line of death dance LOL. Always use caution approaching an amzon in this condition. it can be fine if your the bonded person but he is totally over excited at this point and anything can happen!!

He seemed happy because he was really into playing with his toys and hanging upside down.

Amazons love playing hard, which means they can give off a nip too.

Percy does that when I sing to him - dances up and down, singing (screaming) along. He also does that when he's been praised for being a clever boy a lot. I've come to see that as his 'excited' look because he's never done it in aggression or anger. When he's angry or irritated, he just delivers a sharp bite, no warning dance for him, thank you very much!
