Mating with my Head?

Yes, Apple started doing something pretty weird today... He started by going back and forth under my hair from shoulder to shoulder. He then proceeded to climb up my neck onto my head, he started "grooming" my hair, and also started fluttering his wings. At the same time he would fan his tail up and swing it side to side? Was he mating with me and why? I'm flattered but any ideas?
