New sun conure owner her! We love Pickles parrot, (s)he's a red factor. She still has baby-green under feathers on her head but some bright yellow feathers just popped up on the inner side of her wing. Cute! Pickle-pepper is a goofy, affectionate, active little bird. Pickle-Pepper especially enjoys dried papaya, chewing on everything (especially blankets and fingers), learning to fly in spite of clipped wings (aim is getting better, I'm very proud, I try to encourage good flying), and birdie bocha-bocha time (Japanese pidgin for bath)
We also have an adorable old fluffy Lindy-dog (Cavallier King Charles-Chin mix) who gets along with the birb just fine, except when birb flies at her suddenly. She's slightly afraid of him lol. But only slightly. We all get pets and shoulder-time together pretty well. Once Lindy stole some lau-lau from birb and bird lunged at her but Lindy just ignored it completely because the lau-lau tasted like chicken. The end.
