Hahaha! If it helps, she's never beaked me with anything more than the gentlest of pressure. Not once.

She has nipped my wife rather hard on occasion, but I'm pleased to report that Maya has thus far refrained from attempting such whittling on her.

Hahaha! As for her intended victim, I did make the mistake of letting her and Bixby watch The Walking Dead with us, so maybe she's just prepping for walkers?

And yes, Bixby is ALWAYS planning his defense strategy where she's concerned. Lol!

Yeah, it was the beauty of the females that first caught my eye. I'd actually put down a payment on a female hatchling, originally. But the males came in first and the store owner invited me to come and see them. (Very tricky! Lol!) Obviously I fell in love with Bixby and took him instead. Hahaha!

But it all worked out the way it was supposed to, because now I have Maya as well. Two opposites. He barely preens and sports a trademark, perpetually tousled look, and she's the equivalent of the popular high school prom queen who spends all day in the mirror, not a hair/feather out of place. Lol!

Good job Maya! Keep them on their toes.
