Does anyone happen to own an MCAGE and if so, how do you like it? I just ordered one, but now I am having second thoughts.
I hope in my quest to be frugal; I didn't just end up being cheap and ultimately waste money on a less than desirable cage.

What problems do you see with the cage?
It looks good and I only have 2 issues.
main door could be bigger.
the door size should be bigger in relation to the cage size.

2 is minor. No handles on the top or bottom tray.

can’t tell how sturdy or well made it is from a picture.

I ordered it online last night. I haven't received it yet, so that is why I am a little concerned.

I guess if I was you I would be more worried about assembly instructions.
I have ordered and put together two cages.
the play top cage was easer to assemble than the dome type I ordered later on.

Good news is it looks like shipping is extremely fast as it will be here tomorrow by the end of day. Now I have another worry as to how difficult it is going to be to put together. I was hoping someone in the group had bought an Mcage and that they were going to reassure me that it was a decent cage. I currently have an A&E cage, but don't really love it for the price I paid. Too bad California cages went out of business.

I don’t honestly remember the manifaturer of the cages I ordered .
One was through Amazon.com
the other was from birdcagesforles.
both did come with instructions but it was just pictures.
you might find something spicefic to your cage on YouTube.

Off topic: my Lucy Quaker used to say:

β€œmmcage?”
And β€œIt’s O-cage!”

And I thought someone had a similarly weird bird. Oh well.

You have purchased a fairly standard Parrot cage that was built from one of the three remaining China based manufacturers. Your contact is likely a reseller that buys in quantity and resells from an internet site! Fairly common nowadays.

As far as assembling the cage, I have found that assembling the cage upside down on a large bath towel or floor rug is helpful as it assure that everything is at the same height! It also easies the installation of the wheel assemblies.

Instruction are uncommon as the product is sold Worldwide, so if you get a few pictures your ahead of what most get.

NOTE: If your Web Seller has extra bowls available buy them now as a few years from now, they will not be available!

Remember to include your Parrot as part of the assembly process!! Yes, it will cause you to spend more time assembling the cage, but your Parrot will be more likely to walk into the completed cage!!
