My lovely little Black Cap Conure, Lucy (in the sky with diamonds) <3
Bruce is a Yellow Naped Amazon and a store pet at my favorite store, Pet Paradise in VA Beach :) She seemed to feel the need to have attention from EVERYONE the minute the store got quiet.... well played Bruce haha

(sorry the video is sideways... working on that! haha) :green2:

Very beautiful Amazon ~~ ^^

Nice Share ~~

LOL it's just like a recording!!

Sounds just like my YN hen Stacie, except she also does the 2 yr old screaming fits. She was a rescue from Va Bch also.

Oh my gosh! This made me laugh out loud! ROFLOLOL!

I mean, my gosh he's got the cry down pat! Unbelievable!

Now we know, when someone asks if they could raise a bird in a house with a baby...we can tell them...well..yes, but beware, the bird will probably learn to cry. Hehehehehheehe!

Thanks for sharing, that made my day.

Good that I'm too far! I might be putting down payment in that pet store. I love Bruce!!! (saying person, who doesn't have kids-;)

Haha everyone wants to buy Bruce, but she's not for sale haha she belongs to the store (the whole family works at the store haha) :) She's a BIG time talker when all the baby birds quiet down haha she knows TONS of tricks too :) I had no idea what kind of bird she was, she's SO big! haha I'm used to playing with the itty bitty babies that don't have all their feathers yet! hah

I love Pet Paradise though, they hand feed all the babies and they all get played with and some of them even learn tricks from the older birds :) they don't run the store to "move stock" like a lot of stores do, they actually match your lifestyle with a bird and help you if you're having problems. They teach you how to clip, nail trim, hand feed, the works! All for free :) and if you're not comfortable with that, they'll do it all for you for free! They get all their animals from local breeders and shows too! They've got some really exotic animals and they're all incredibly well cared for :) If there's ever a reptile in an enclosure too small, it's because they're cleaning it's normal cage and didn't want it running around the store! haha they used to have a red tegu, Mo, that would hang out with the cockatoos! he'd let the conures ride on his back too! he had free roam of the store. <3 I love that place so much! haha they don't take an animal into their inventory unless they're confident they can care for it AND teach someone else how to care for it properly :)
