Meet Gonzo!

We adopted him a few days ago and may call him Gizmo.

He's about 4 years old and a former rescue birdie. His owner has to move out of state and can't take him.

So far, he's settling in well. However, he won't touch pellets, fruits or veggies. Not even apples!

Isn't he cute? He's in isolation but Sunny and Trixie can hear him, so lots of back and forth squawking.

he's really cute, but just a friendly word, if he is in the house, where they breath the same air (And it travels through your whole house even through closed doors) it's not isolation.

But! separate rooms in earshot is the best place to start as you must know

I closed off the air vents in his room and we're washing hands, changing clothes but I know it's not totally foolproof.

We moved the air purifier to his room, temporarily.

Welcome home, Gonzo (or Gizmo)! He's a super cute little guy, Congrats! Sounds like Sunny and Trixie can't wait to meet him.
