Meet Maverick, our BFA baby!

After a loooooong wait since last October we finally found him!

Here is most recent picture from Sunday!

We are SOOOOO excited for him to come home in early September ish. We are closing on our first home the beginning of August and his cage (which has already been fully assembled in our current apartment since APRIL!!) already has a spot picked out where he can see throughout the main floor of the house.

I'm sure we will question our entire decision many times to enter parront-hood, but it will ALL be worth it.

I know I'm biased, but I think he is precious :10:

From my own personal experiences with Blue Fronts, I think they are the sweetest of the 'zon family. People will say I am biased also,but I believe I have a very unique 'zon,she is in a class all her own

I am so very glad that you are not pushing the Breeder. Getting them onto solid foods prior to bring them home is just so important.

Then poof!! 8 days later and he's suddenly a handsome little man!!!

Congrats on your new home! Not sure how it has been for you but I can't wait to have the purchasing process behind me as a first timer!!

Eeeeeeeep! A baby baby blue front! He is so very adorable and feathering/growing so fast. Looks like he'll have a nice blue patch too. I wish so much I had photos like this of Kiwi as a baby. They are so cute at this stage where they are still so small but starting to feather. Please keep these sweet growing up photos coming!

Update from today! Apparently Maverick discovered what wings are for. I have been told that he continues to ignore his formula and feedings because all he wants to do is fly around. These are pictures after she was finally able to get him to eat:

I just love all the yellow he also has on him. Interestingly enough, my wife and I bickered about DYH vs BFA...

Wish he didn't live so far away! Can't wait for the little fid to come home to us! Since we are moving into the house in 4 weeks we went ahead and packed his things and took his cage down. You know, the cage that we've had established since early April???
